BRIEF
Under Milk Wood or to give it it’s Welsh title Dan y Wenallt is the first live action version of Dylan Thomas’ seminal radio play, since Burton and Taylor in ‘73. The coup here is the bilingual nature of the filming, with two versions of the film produced, one Welsh, one English. The Welsh version opened in a handful of cinemas before being shown on terrestrial television. The English version is being premiered at the Berlin film festival this spring followed by a wider cinematic release.
DELIVERABLES
With a quick turn around a necessity, a website that displayed the trailer, participating cinemas and cast list was needed. A dynamic, mobile ready website featuring a full screen image slider on the homepage, a dedicated trailer page with embedded HTML5 video, full social media integration and data capture contact form. This basis of the site can be built upon for England specific marketing at a later date.
